About Me

Greetings!

My name is Ann Marie, and as you can see I'm a Star Trek fan just like everyone else here on the OS.

I never called myself a Trekkie until after I saw the new Star Trek movie back in May 2009. Before then, I had seen the shows on TV with my parents, but never gave them much thought. TNG was the first series I remember seeing, because I was a little girl when it was on TV. I spent my childhood watching TNG, DS9, Voyager, and later Enterprise, but I never called myself a fan. After seeing the new movie, I became curious, and began to look up stuff on TOS, and eventually reintroduced myself to TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT. As my username suggests, my favorite Trek episode is "Yesterday's Enterprise". It holds a special place for me because it was the first TNG episode that I had seen since declaring myself a Trekkie. It also introduced me to my favorite characters, Tasha Yar, Rachel Garrett and Richard Castillo.

My favorite aliens are Romulans, Bajorans, and Vulcans. My favorite series are TNG, DS9 and Voyager.
