I wonder if there are people who have used a device like this to live forever. You only get to live the same day over and over again. The only thing you can build is knowledge. But you never age.

Which is limiting enough to make it Groundhog Day in Hell.

Acquiring knowledge is just fine, but sooner or later you've got to live.

Depends on the person. A real loner who doesn't care about other people may not mind. Plus, you can spend your whole life savings and max out your credit cards and not have to worry because it will all be back tomorrow. What if instead of a day, you make it a month loop? You'd have enough time to travel and explore and when the clock reset, you'd be back home and not spent a dime. If you break your arm, it will be all better at the end of the month. You wouldn't have to work. You can take risks and it doesn't matter if you get killed, you'll come back. You could even do it as a couple or small group

I and the Duchess are pretty hard and fast introverts. We joke occasionally that we're a match set in that occasionally barely tolerate each other. But, even so, neither of us could tolerate that. There has to be some semblance of permanence and 16 hours wouldn't cut it. You're simply too limited in where you can go and what you can do.

A month's loop would actually work a lot better, I think.
