While I cringe at some of the tabloid-ish prose of Wolff’s, the book is very consistent with the people I see on the news every day.

Very much so. There's nothing in the various depictions of stupidity and lawlessness where I stopped and said, "No way."

It’s deliberately sensationalized, and I get that; Wolff’s gotta sell books. But nothing of what’s in the book necessarily rang false, either.   Given the revelations we see (literally) every single day, it’s no wonder the book feels more tabloid-ish than a normal presidential profile.  Hell, the Stormy Daniels thing broke after the book was published.
