....5. When you show up to the Halloween costume contest in a TNG uniform. (My Trek name was Commander David Drake)

I've done that! I was a Lt. Commander. ;)

Uh... You know you've watched too much when you get in an elevator and say "deck (whatever floor you're going to)"

I haven't done that OUT LOUD yet, but I've thought it. :P

 I've actually done that out loud, but only when no one is in the elevator with me.

I do that, but it's sarcasm so is more a Red Dwarf reference...

The Earl Grey one is sadly true. It's cheap so it's all i can order at Starbucks whilst being served by the ever so lovely girl who works there.

More like 1 reason, Dax. Starbucks can't make Earl Grey to save their lives.

BUT! if that lovely girl you're pining after makes it, Herb, tell her it's the best Earl Grey you've ever had! :P

I can't help but wonder if it's different in the UK Starbucks...

You know you've watched too much Star Trek when you think your favorite armchair would make a good Captain's chair

Upside to swearing in Klingon/Romulan as it was mentioned earlier: You can do so under your breath, at your boss, and he'd be none the wiser

When you talk to your microwave as if it's a replicator and say "On screen!" when you want the telly on.

When you shake about with the actors when watching a space battle.

You know you've seen too much Trek when you think of your car as being a Shuttlecraft

You know you've watched FAAAR too much Trek when you're in your car/shuttle and you're working out your mph as a Warp factor.

Pfft, I'd think of mine as nothing less than a Captain's Yacht.... if I had a car and it was one of those big luxury cruiser type car (like some Bentleys etc) :P

 Well a Captain's Yacht is good if you've got a car that would do it justice...not like our 20 year old rusting Escort ...that would be like more like that pokey ship that was piloted by the 8 foot Klingon in TNG: The Gambit pt II :O

You know you've watched too much Trek when:

-You become overprotective of your favorite character. *coughspockcough*

-Your current ringtone is the intro for TNG (minus Picard's voice-over).

When you get home from graduation, take a good look at your robes, and say "Just make a few slight changes, and these might make great Romulan Senator robes!"

You go to see the new movie and get every little slight reference and nod to the old series that are buried in there :P;)

^ I can't wait to see it! Glad to hear they have "nods" to TOS in there!

When you contemplate ways to make trendy versions of uniform shirts that you can get away with wearing in public.

When you see "Maquis" on a towel label, and immediately think to yourself, "What would Benjamin Sisko do?"

3. You try to make a trendy TOS uniform shirt so you can wear it out in public.

my friend who used to work at my store did this! his mom made him a TOS red shirt and he wore it all weekend. that year--we were allowed to wear our costumes Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Monday was Halloween).

my response when i saw him, "well if i hear a page for 'code white in electronics'*, i'll know who it is!"

Monday rolled around and when he saw me, he went "i've survived all weekend, woohoo!"

* - for those not familiar with Walmart, "code white" is our code for customer or associate accident.

also i have a DS9 style uniform and i've dressed up as a Trill medical officer character i used to write for a yahoo-group RPG a couple Halloweens.

You've had too much Trek when you plan to do your wedding Klingon-style.

I'm still seeking the right girl for it...
