Omega Sector Fan Fiction & Art Rules

1) In consideration of our younger and/or more content-sensitive patrons, we cannot accept any work of fiction and/or art which would be considered sexually explicit or graphic in nature (NC-17). We ask all writers to keep this in mind when posting their work and kindly ask that all posts remain at a rating of R or less.

2) We welcome slash as much as we welcome het. Just make sure to include a slash warning in either the topic title itself or in your story header.

3) We will not accept any material that contains an adult/minor pairing.

4) This forum is for fan fic written by the members of The Omega Sector, not for fan fic that was written on other websites by other people. Please post your own work only.

We take pride in not censoring any work, however, we ask all authors and artists to remain cognizant of the age ranges of our readers. If you have any concern about the appropriate nature of your work, please feel free to contact one of the moderators before you post to assure that it wouldn't be considered offensive.

We appreciate your assistance in helping to keep The Omega Sector a place where everyone is welcome.

Sincerely,

The Moderators of The Omega Sector BBS

Well you just open a new topic here in the Fan Trek section and then continue the story by simply adding replies to that topic when you have a new chapter.

Does this rule only apply to posting work, or does it also apply to discussion? Does that mean, for example,I would be off base mentioning two new fan films that raise interesting moral issues not forum-related?

Posting here about fan films is probably best, as there's nowhere else for them to go. Just make sure there isn't already a topic about the particular film/episode you want to discuss; if there is, just post your thoughts there rather than starting a new thread. :)

Thanks. It is unlikely that such a thread exists, as the two films I was considering discussing were both released this month.
