  1. Sherlock, Season Four - pretty good end to the series, IMO.
  2. I used to read it more avidly and actually wrote some here and there as experiments in capturing voice and creating viable plotlines. I suggest delving into what we have here - a lot of it is excellent
  3. Greetings! Welcome to the Omega Sector! Hope you enjoy it here. My preferred series is probably Deep Space Nine, followed by TNG as a close second. However, I like each of the series for one thing or another. Greatest moment? Visiting the set of Deep Space Nine when it was in production. Enjoy!
  4. ^ I liked it because it showed a more human side of Kirk. I've always liked the literary universe for that - Kirk is much more humanized since we can really see his inner monologue and see him deal with the conflict. As good an actor as Shatner is, he still had to be the confident leading man and I don't think he had a chance to really show a lot of vulnerability.
  5. On my PBS watchlist...was hoping to get to it, but busy with stuff and then suddenly...ahh two of em! I gotta get to them soon. I'm planning on seeing 4.2 tomorrow I wanna finish getting through my Stella DVD...and with nothing on wait from the library (for the moment) I will probably use some of my free time tomorrow to watch both episodes! The episodes are available on Amazon Germany for €6 per episode... that's still too expensive for my taste, so I'll have to wait until the BDs are released or it'll be available for free on Netflix or Amazon. Watched more "The Twilight Zone": "When the Sky Was Opened", "What You Need", "The Four of Us Are Dying", "Third from the Sun" and "I Shot an Arrow in the Air". The main actor in "Third from the Sun", Fritz Weaver, appeared familiar to me until I looked him up: Ha! He also played O'Brien's Cardassian attorney in DS9's 2nd season episode, where O'Brien is on court on Cardassia, more than 30 years later! Very memorable chin! Fritz Weaver was a fantastic actor, and a staple of Twilight Zone episodes. You'll recognize other actors, as well, like Joseph Ruskin, who played a number of roles in TOS, DS9, Voyager, and ENT. Or William Windom (Decker in TOS' "The Doomsday Machine).
  6. Currently working through "The Autobiography of James T. Kirk" - a very different take on Kirk, showing him to be more conflicted, less confident than he appears in the episodes.
  7. I've been watching "Mr Selfridge," a Masterpiece Theatre production. Before that, it was the last season of "Downton Abbey."
  8. Garak definitely has skills! in fact, my avatar is a Mr. Garak original
  9. Greetings and felicitations!
  10. I just finshed Season Two of Dark Matter. A very interesting show, IMO.
  11. The Flash - haven't watched it in forever but really enjoyed seeing S2 on Netflix...
  12. You might also try "Indistinguishable from Magic," which is a one-off story that is post-Nemesis, but it also features characters from other franchises.
  13. Ash vs. Evil Dead
  14. I'm gonna have to check this out!
  15. Confirmed: The main character is referred to as Number One: http://io9.gizmodo.com/daenerys-may-make-a-surprising-visit-in-game-of-thrones-1785867098
