  1. My Nebula-Class (2D Artwork)

Here is a closer shot of the aft station bank. You can see the Tactical II station, situated between Mission Ops and Engineering.
  2. My Nebula-Class (2D Artwork)

Tactical is in the exact same spot as it is on the Enterprise-D - on the horseshoe console. It's just augmented by the computer box equipment. There is also a Tactical II station in the aft station bank, located between the Mission Ops and Engineering stations.
  3. My Nebula-Class (2D Artwork)

Thanks, guys. In terms of the 3D bridge, Rekkert deserves all the credit for that, since he's the one who modeled and rendered it. I'm only doing the 2D ortho plans.
  4. Blade Runner Sequel

That's how you know it's fiction. Rain like that will never touch California.
  5. My Nebula-Class (2D Artwork)

Well, I've been away a LONG time, lol. Even though it's 3D, and not 2D, I figured I'd post this, since it's related to my Nebula-Class ship, the U.S.S. Quasar. As stated above, the bridge shares the exact same floor plan as that of the Galaxy-Class, with minor cosmetic changes (listed above/upthread, in reply to The Founder). Rekkert, of Sci Fi Meshes, was kind enough to accept my commission, and build this bridge for me. It was created in Blender. The circuitry access LCARS were created by Joe Ralat, and all other LCARS were created by Rekkert. Below are three final renders of the bridge of the Nebula-Class U.S.S. Quasar, NCC-71555. I hope to very soon resume work on the 2D plans, as I've neglected this project for far too long. As I said, I've been away too long, and for that I apologize. But now I'm back.
  6. TNG Remastered: Season 3 HD Trailer & Stills!

Finally... I have to say, after the very disappointing look of season 2, this is VERY welcome! They have done a far better job here, based on what I can see. Good work.
  7. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

Hey, there, OT! Aye, small cyber-world, indeed! I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on the casting choice for young Adama... hell, even I could pull off a convincing younger Adama... I have the facial structure, the skin tone... I can even do the Adama glare. But the voice... the voice is the hardest part. A graveled voice is something that comes from a lifetime of smoking, drinking, or yelling, lol. I wish I could learn how to nail down his voice, but voices are hard as all frak to get right. I also agree with the lens flare... I don't like it, but it is what it is... I don't let it impede my enjoyment of the rest of it.

Did you try clicking on it? It's hosted on Postimage.org, a free image hosting site.
  9. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

^ Sure... here you go... I took a screencap of my comment and their reply. I'm Bruce Adama, obviously. I found it nice that their reply finally offers some concrete and canon evidence of just exactly WHEN Battlestar Pegasus was built.
  10. Federation: The First 150 Years - Trailer

Oh, I know it looks nice... it does make for a nice presentation. But the bottom line is that I'd rather just have the book. I don't want to have to pay more for it, because it comes with something that basically only serves to jack up the price. But yeah, there are collectors who will want both, no doubt.
  11. Federation: The First 150 Years - Trailer

I hope that you can buy/order the book without the pedestal, as well... otherwise I'll pass. I want the book, but paying a higher price just for that pedestal is gimmicky, and forcing me to pay extra for something I don't really want.
  12. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

I pretty much love everything so far... I think this new Adama has what it takes to pull of a convincing younger version of the Admiral. His attitude and mannerisms are all there, and even the inflections in his speech are right... it's just that he doesn't have any gravel in his voice yet. I'm sold on him, and IMO, he does look a lot more like a young Adama than Nico Cortez did. I don't like the lens flares, but I can deal with it. I love what they've done with the CIC and the hangar bays, and my issue with the enlarged hangar bays was this... I can buy that Galactica would lose all that when she's refitted to become a museum ship in peacetime... same with the added stuff in CIC. What I couldn't buy, is why pure military ships still on active duty, like the Battlestar Pegasus would not retain those features. I posted my concerns on the "Blood and Chrome" FB page, and they were addressed in a way that both follows canon and makes sense, so I'm happy with things as they've been shown so far. I also really love the sort of 'mineshaft monorail' system that is used to traverse Galactica's interior... I thought that was both a nice militaristic/industrial touch, and a nice nod to TOS BSG. I have no problems with the CGI VFX so far. No matter what, CGI effects will always be distinguishable from practical elements, so I always knew that going in. But what I've seen so far has actually surpassed my expectations quality-wise, so I'm not complaining. I love the look of the fully-armored Galactica-Class ships, and love the extra guns and cannons they gave them. It'll be cool to learn the names of the various new Galactica-Classes we see. We know of BS Columbia, but other than that, they'll all be fresh. I'm actually kind of shocked at how much canon has been respected... so far the ONLY gripe I have, is that the officers are wearing the nuBSG-era duty-blues, instead of the "TOS/RAZOR"-era duty-blues we saw in the "RAZOR" flashbacks. But they've been pretty damn good about retaining the canon elements so far. Yes, the "RAZOR" flashbacks showed a Galactica that wasn't fully armored, but that's because they were using the TV show's model in those shots, so I can let it pass. I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest, and plan to buy the DVD.
  13. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

I also loved how this is beginning. I will certainly buy the DVD or blu-ray, because I want the full unedited version and content, but I won't be watching it on SyFy... considering how the web version already censors the profanity, PLUS does so without commercial interruptions, I don't need to see it broken up with commercials on TV.
  14. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

I personally don't even acknowledge the existence of SyFy anymore. They make nothing but crap schlock and show WWE wrestling. They are incapable of even beginning to realize how hugely they were blessed to have been graced by the likes of nuBSG, and how miraculously lucky WE are that SyFy never managed to frak nuBSG up. As far as I am concerned, I'm just going to save all the HD webisodes for B&C, and as long as I have them, I am happy... I don't need SyFy for anything anymore.
  15. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome

    Wonder no more:
