My problem relates to my Aspergers syndrome diagnoses. Most who are on the autism spectrum absolutely hate/detest loud noises and large crowds.

My godson has Asperger's, so I understand completely.  That would be hell for anyone, especially so for someone with that condition.

  4. Anyone remember this? Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of War of the Worlds
  5. Yeah. I'm right in the middle of 6.05 right now. Excellent episode!
  6. Loving this show more every minute. Goran is perfect as Flynn.
  7. More nudity/sex, swearing, and violence? I say BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
  8. Yeah because a lot of the characters NEED to be taken out. If you ever decide to get the series on Blu-Ray, there is a huge BOATLOAD of extras, including in-episode guides, interviews with cast and production stuff, interviews with George R.R. Martin on actual events that inspired the events in Game of Thrones (mainly the English Civil War and the Massacre at Glencoe). Also features maps of Westeros and Essos, and very detailed descriptions on the history of Westeros (families, religion, etc). FYI, Talisa was not a character from the books. Robb Stark married a girl, Jayne Westerling, whose family were bannermen to the Lannisters, and she was not killed.
  9. Wait till you see what Tyrion (my favorite character because I like anything Peter Dinklage does) does to his father!
  10. That's the whole point.
  11. Did a triple Rocky Horror Picture Picture today: US cut, British cut, and the revamped version that aired a few days ago. Tim Curry is still the best, but Lavern Cox was a real hoot!
  12. My wife and I continued our "Game of Thrones" binge sessions: Season 3, episodes 7-10. 3.09 indeed was bloody, but I had expected more after all these warnings. Guess I really am desensitized about blood by now... :/ You might want to try reading the books which the series is based on. The books have much more blood and sex than the tv series does. Even more? LOL, I thought the tv series is pretty bloody and sexual already... my wife and I were wondering if there is even a single episode without explicit sex! And I didn't mean to imply I'd enjoy more blood even more ... IMO, this episode was fine just as it was. Great series! I watched "Justified", season 1, episodes 2 & 3. I liked these episodes a little better than the pilot. Maybe it's just because I'm better adjusted to the show now, knowing what to expect, but I had the impression the humor works better now. Can't say I think it's an outstanding show so far, or even on par with other shows I'd consider true quality, but it was perfectly entertaining. One of the biggest differences between the books and series is this (spoiler alert):
  13. On a Triumph binge right now: World of Fantasy- Easily Triumph's best song! Lay it on the Line Fight the Good Fight Hold On Follow Your Heart Tears in the Rain Spellbound Somebody's Out There Magic Power Never Surrender I Live For The Weekend Rock 'n' Roll Machine Fool For Your Love
  14. This one is often recommended to me too, for the same reasons. We watched two or three episodes and then kind of lost interest. To an extent, it seemed like standard macho fare to us, and the lead characters just weren't really that compelling. But we have friends who, now and then, entreat us to stick with it, at least past the first "seven or eight" episodes, because, "after that, it gets really good." Still haven't managed to drag ourselves back to it, but maybe we will. I'm curious to know what you think if you make it beyond that half-way marker into the "good zone"...! Okay, so people recommended "Justified" to you too? Guess there must be *something* about the show after all... I'll let you know if/when I manage to finish the first eight episodes! =) My wife and I continued our "Game of Thrones" binge sessions: Season 3, episodes 7-10. 3.09 indeed was bloody, but I had expected more after all these warnings. Guess I really am desensitized about blood by now... :/ You might want to try reading the books which the series is based on. The books have much more blood and sex than the tv series does.
  15. Prepare yourself for 3.9 of GoT "The Rains of Castamere." ITS EXTREMELY BLOODY!!!
