Looks good guys. Great job as always.
  2. Chris McKeown added a post in a topic I'm sad

Just so you guys know, myself and the Active Admin on SciFi United have pulled all our content, videos, images, etc... and have moved everything back to our original site SciFi Updates. As I am posting this SciFiUnited is completely gone, I guess Tim pulled what little was left there.

Like Virogen said anything that makes money in those sites goes to Tim. Myself as a huge SciFi Fan am very distressed by how the fans and also actors where treated and how so many have lost money over this ordeal. For those of you who don't know I was the PR Rep for FedCon USA, but a little more than a month before the convention I pulled out, (simple to say I saw the writing on the wall).

There is a panel this Wednesday at 10pm EST/7pm PST that I will be sitting in on at SyFyPortal Radio covering FedCon USA and what went wrong so feel free to call in to ask your questions and let us know how you fell about this.

I have to agree with Virogen. And the choice of Zachary Quinto to play a younger Spock is awesome. Now just if we knew who is playing the rest of the main cast.

Well for those of you that haven't seen the actual footage you can view it HERE.

And here is the poster they have at Comic Con.

    Trek XI Script Leak?
    Sci fi Site.net
    written by
    Commodore MAC

The movie reporting site IESB has revealed someone close to the upcoming Star Trek XI film is showing off the first few pages of the script. The source claims that along with Kirk, Spock, we can also expect to see Scotty and Captain Christopher Pike, captain of the Starship Enterprise before Kirk came along. The source also states that both big-name Hollywood stars and total unknowns have been meeting with the casting director. This in-the-know source also revealed that the storyline of the movie will be non-linear, and will instead follow many different time frames. While all of this is very interesting, we can’t help but wonder why the ultra-tight security on the film seems to have suddenly disappeared; also, there is no hint as to just who this miracle-working “source” might be. So we’ll leave it up to you - a tantalizing tidbit about our favorite topic of conversation, Trek XI, or is someone full of Shat??

Trek XI Rumors Confirmed by Shatner, again!
    Sci Fi Site.net
    written by
    Commodore MAC

William Shatner has become the first person associated with the upcoming Star Trek XI movie that would give any information on the film. He confirmed that yes, the film will deal with the early years of Kirk and Spock at the Academy. He also said that J.J. Abrams and others connected with the film “told me they would like me to be part of their film, but they have to write the role. . . They need to figure out how to put the dead captain in with the young captain. It's a very complex, technical problem of how to write the character in, and I'm not sure how they will solve it.”

In a strange coincidence, Shatner is working on a parallel storyline in two novels he is co-writing with Gar and Judy Reeves-Stevens. The first book has already been submitted to the publisher, and should be released in early 2008.

  14. Chris McKeown added a post in a topic J.J. Wants Shatner & Nimoy

If it is the younger days of Kirk and Spock as we expect, it may just be a shot of them remembering the good old days and maybe them narrating the movie. I think that would be befitting to the characters and to Trek as a whole.
